ISOLA cotonea: “A Natural Island Harmonized with Messinian Beauty” Amidst a traditional olive grove in the heart of Messinia, we envisioned a poetic architectural marvel, ISOLA cotonea. Embraced by the olive trees, this sanctuary draws inspiration from its locale, aptly named & Island of Quinces. The essence lies in a rustic abode, spanning 180 sqm, with two bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, and a central living space, seamlessly connecting to numerous outdoor realms. Enveloped in privacy and nature’s embrace, we crafted an enchanting dwelling, using Mediterranean textiles, ceramics, and local stones, a homage to Peloponnesian tradition. Timeless lines, reminiscent of the region’s vernacular, birthed a contemporary residence that bows to ancestral roots. Countryside Haven beckons discerning souls to savor the Mesinnian paradise, honoring nature’s splendour and cultural heritage.
